She also has authored numerous books and gives lectures and workshops there. In 2005, she founded the Academy for Ethics and Consciousness, a school for expanding awareness for a responsible, competent, and purposeful approach to personal, professional, and social aspects of one's life. Ulrike has two grown children and lives with her husband in California.
