Daniel Kearns (born 26 August 1991 in Belfast) is an Irish footballer who currently plays for Peterborough United. Kearns spent a three-year spell with playing youth team football with West Ham United in England. Before joining the Hammers in July 2007, Kearns had been the player of the tournament at the Ballymena International Tournament in 2006. Kearns signed for Dundalk in May 2010 after being released from West Ham, he made 12 appearances in his first season. Kearns scored his first competitive goal for Dundalk against Linfield in the Setanta Sports Cup on St Valentine's Day 2011. He went on to score 2 more which was also his first senior hat-trick.
