Autorenporträt
Ashley Molina is a second-generation American who is constantly looking for ways to represent Latinos in various industries. Oftentimes she finds herself in a world that has little representation of people like her. A couple of years ago she gave herself the goal of writing a children's book so that children like the one she once was could see themselves in a book. This is Ashley's first book about her and her grandmother, which not only represents the Latino community but helps children of all ages and backgrounds cope with losing a loved one. She hopes to continue writing stories like this that help children deal with the tougher things in life.
