In this collection of over 200 archival photographs, Images of America: Danville provides a glimpse of the people, places, and events of days gone by and also poses what the future may hold for the city. Author Todd McGregor Yeatts currently serves as Danville's Assistant City Manager for Government Affairs. Mr. Yeatts, a Danville native, returned to the region following 14 years on active duty as a United States Marine. He continues to serve as a major in the Marine Corps Reserve, and in 2003 he deployed to Kuwait and Iraq for participation in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
