In a world full of messages promoting the hook-up culture, "living your best life", and instant gratification fueled by the mantra that "you only live once", Christian young adults can struggle with glorifying God in their dating lives. Daring to Date Differently, aims to provide readers with Biblically-based truths written in love about the realities of dating in a world that never ceases to try to lure Christians into settling for less than what God has for them. This book also guides readers in how to navigate the dating world in a way that glorifies God through careful consideration of scriptures, discussions on popular topics relevant to dating, and a section for reflection and application at the end of each chapter.

Autorenporträt
Haleigh Watkins is a 20-year-old woman who is passionate about encouraging others to pursue Christ with reckless abandon. She recently married her high school sweetheart and is pursuing her master's degree in social work. Being an FSU graduate and having dated her husband for about four years before their marriage (and having known him for five years prior to that), she has personally experienced the struggles of daring to date differently and relentlessly pursuing Christ no matter the cost. It is her hope that, through the lessons she has learned, her story will be able to make a difference in the life of someone who wants to glorify God in their dating relationship but isn't sure where to begin.
