F. Haywood Glenn is a lifelong resident of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is the author of one previous novel, several short stories and one non-fiction work. In 2009 this author also published a small literary magazine entitled, O.P.A.L. Magazine (Original Poetry, Art, and Literature). She says that her writing has been influenced by the works of Zora Neale Hurston, Alex Haley, Taylor Caldwell, Alice Walker and many others. She has been writing for more than twenty years.
