Dark tourism consists of visiting places linked to death and suffering, such as battlefields, castles, natural disasters and other similar attractions. In this sense, we believe that this form of tourism can be promoted as a "tourist product" in Angola and Benguela province, taking into account the prospect of sustainable tourism, local development and knowledge of recent history and the vicissitudes experienced by the population; a legacy to be passed on to current and future generations.
