König tests the option of recalling the rights from the open content system, after which he discusses whether and under what circumstances an originator can prevent further distribution of proprietary work governed by an open-content licence, as well as whether originator can exclude further legal concessions made against his will. How does the exhaustion of dissemination rights impact these licence constructs in the event of non-physical sharing? To elucidate this question, the author presents a re-organisation of open-content works based on licence chains.
