Dr. Georg Winter, Hamburger Unternehmer, promovierter Jurist und Vater von vier Kindern, litt als Schüler unter einem Sprachfehler. Er lispelte stark. Mit gezieltem Sprachtraining ging er dagegen vor und entdeckte dabei seine Lust am Wortspiel sowie sein Schnellsprechtalent. Georg Winter entwickelte eine rasante Zungenfertigkeit, die er bei "Wetten, dass ?" einem staunenden Millionenpublikum vorstellte. Schnellfeuergewehrgleich kamen ihm die komplizierten Lautfolgen selbst verfasster Zungenbrecher über die Lippen und machten ihn zum gefeierten Wettkönig bei Thomas Gottschalk.Auch als Unternehmer plädiert Winter für klare und deutliche Sprache. Für die Erfindung und Verbreitung umweltbewusster Managementsysteme wurde er 1995 mit dem Deutschen Umweltpreis ausgezeichnet. 1998 gründete er in Hamburg "Das Haus der Zukunft", ein internationales Modellprojekt für nachhaltiges Wirtschaften.
