Healthcare sector is a massive area which deals with data about hospitals, patients, doctors, medical devices and equipment's. The management of large health care data poses a great challenge to the researchers. The usage of data mining and machine learning techniques has revolutionized the healthcare organizations. The field of data mining helps to discover hidden patterns by bringing a set of machine learning tools and techniques. As numerous data mining tools & techniques continue to develop along with the healthcare domain, the applications of data mining in healthcare sector will undoubtedly play a growing role in the world. This study comes out with the application of classification and prediction technique to predict the occurrence of diabetes. The implementation is done using the application of J48 Algorithm, Naïve Bayes Algorithm and DCA Approach in WEKA. It analyze the performance of classification techniques on the basis of accuracy.
