Visualization and interaction techniques can aid the analysis of data, since they amplify the process of insight on related data, transforming and/or amplifying them in the form of images. In this context, augmented reality allows the direct manipulation of objects and the user might interact with them in a natural way, as in the real world. Visualization and interaction techniques can aid the analysis of data, since they amplify the process of insight on related data, transforming and/or amplifying them in the form of images. In this context, augmented reality allows the direct manipulation of objects and the user might interact with them in a natural way, as in the real world. The health education field has benefit from the power of these technologies once students can build new knowledge based on interactions with virtual objects that bring underlying data to life. Data visualization and augmented reality can amplify the associations between anatomy-physiology and movement through its use in mobile devices, allowing greater flexibility of interaction with virtual anatomical models. Based on these questions, this book addresses the use of visualization approaches to interact with virtual and segmented anatomical structures, in order to facilitate their study and learning by students of the areas of healt sciences.
