Shailasree Sekhar has PhD in Biochemistry from the CSIR-CFTRI, India. The thrust area under the Institution of Excellence was identified the biodiversity of Western Ghats medicinal plants, due to location advantage of this hot spot to the University. She has compiled their scientific data as reviews and has brought a database hyperlinked to source.
