Ellen Hooge is a writer and publisher from Calgary Alberta, Canada. She grew up in West Africa and Saskatchewan and draws on her rich heritage in her writing. As a student of culture and human nature, Ellen enjoys painting vivid word pictures and exploring the complexities of life. She now lives beside the scenic Bow River where she spends her time publishing books with Sparrow House Collective and keeping tabs on her ten Grandchildren.
