He ran again unsuccessfully at the 2002 general election, receiving 5.6% of the votes, and was also unsuccessful at the 2007 general election getting 6.7% of the votes. He lost his council seat at the 2009 local elections. Healy is an adviser to John Gormley, leader of the Irish Green Party and Irish Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government
