David Norman Reddaway, CMG, MBE (born 26 April 1953) is the British ambassador to Turkey. Before his appointment to Turkey in 2009, he was the British ambassador to Ireland. He was born in Ottawa, Canada and went to Oundle School. He studied history at Cambridge University, and joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 1975. His career has included assignments to Iran (during the Iranian revolution), India, Spain, Argentina and Afghanistan.
