There's a deepening mystery that the world's written language kept disappearing for good, with no explanation. Schoolgirls Davidia and Slirander catch a perpetrator finger-licking his way through a book, making the words disappear, and were puzzled. They spring into action to find the cause of the destruction and find themselves on a journey, trying to solve the puzzle of the disappearing words. A Moonah tree whose leaves represent the letters of the alphabet help them on their journey, transforming them to strange and mysterious places where they find the fateful pit of lost letters, but not before they had to escape the traps set for them by the different keepers of the alphabet who hung tenaciously to their letters. All the while they had to outsmart their adversary, the enemy who had stolen the written word from the world. Who was this character? Were the girls successful in their mission to save the language of the world?

Autorenporträt
Ken lives in Melbourne, Australia. His first venture into writing began on a sewerage farm whilst engaged in an aquaculture project in 2002.On a boring Friday afternoon, his imagination got the better of him and he decided to fill in his time by writing a nonsense short story called The Frog who Hopped on One Leg.Within a year he had written a series of short stories and a year later began his first novel Stumped.Imagination supplies an endless supply of ideas used to create and craft his criminal fantasy fiction novels, his preferred genres. He loves to travel with many places he has visited providing inspiration for his novels. He has travelled extensively throughout Europe, Asia and other parts of the world and actually lived and worked in Austria, Europe, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. Caravanning locally is also of great interest.Ken's primary occupation is an accountant currently running his own business.Sport has been a major influence in Ken's life. His two crime fiction novels have both been influenced by his involvement with sport (cricket and golf).Ken's inspiration for writing the Davidia series of novels has been his daughter, Sophie. He has assisted in raising two children. All novels have been written with a sense of humour which is a refreshing feeling and allows the seriousness of life to relax. We all need escapism at times.
