M.E. Kalous studied English, humanities, and publishing at Simon Fraser University. She has a deep love of Greek and Norse mythology and all things related to the Inferno. She is a voracious reader of fiction, fantasy, fairy tales, and sci-fi. She lives in Vancouver, B.C., with her impossibly tall other half and their two beloved hell spawn (others may refer to them as cats). Her appetite for fantasy extends beyond the passive into the realm of Dungeons & Dragons, as an enthusiastic, but clumsy player. Dawning of the Sun is her debut novel.
