Autorenporträt
Native of New Jersey, now a resident of Roswell, NM, Helen Walters is a well known local poet. Graduating Trenton State College with a degree in Commercial Art, she spent 10 years in the graphic arts field. Returning to school for Computerized Accounting, she spent another 10 years doing Bookkeeping and as an administrative assistant. She became an Activity Director that allowed her to use all of her talents. She spent the next 15 years in Adult Daycare, Assisted Living residences and in Nursing Homes, specializing in Alzheimer's and Dementia. She now writes of her experiences and the people she knew.
