C.J. Skuse wurde 1980 im englischen Badeort Weston-super-Mare geboren und lebt heute in Burnham-on-Sea. An der Bath Spa University studierte sie Kreatives Schreiben und erhielt eine Auszeichnung für ihre Masterarbeit im Fach "Writing for Young People".
