Don Porter comes to writing via a fascinating and circuitous route. Educated in Iowa and Alaska, he has built mountaintop radio and TV repeater in Alaska, earned the full compliment of pilots licenses, piloted commercial charter flights with human cargo ranging from state troopers and mothers in labor to dead bodies. He has grubstaked prospectors and rounded up reindeer. Then, trading snow for sunshine, he has spend the last 10 years in Hawaii as Director of Maintenance for ABC. Oh, yes, he's also a Professional Private Investigator.
