Dean Armstrong (born April 24, 1973) is a Canadian television and stage actor and acting coach. Armstrong was born in Owen Sound, Ontario. An actor and coach for film and television, his varied career includes 5 seasons in his critically acclaimed portrayal of Blake on Showtime's Queer As Folk, as well as roles in Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings, The Listener, Saw 3D, and Haven. Armstrong was also the host of the CBC 6-part mini-series Triple Sensation II and spent 2 years on Broadway starring in Jonathan Larson's Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical Rent.
