Autorenporträt
From heartbreak, I learned that it is always better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. Losing someone doesn't mean to close off your heart, it means you now have space to share it with someone new. From betrayal, I learned that no matter how devasting it feels for someone to abuse your trust, there is always a reason. Even when it seems like they completely sabotaged you, people are rarely truly evil. When I realized this, it became easier to forgive and move on. From loneliness, I learned how to be a better person. No one will ever know you like you know yourself. Being lonely at some point in life is inevitable and we must come to terms with enjoying our own company. And when you feel lonely and like there's not a single living soul who understands you, just remember you are never actually alone. The world will keep spinning. The sun will come up again tomorrow morning. Everyone around you will continue breathing. Someone, somewhere, is feeling what you do, too.
