After training in the Marine Infantry, he soon switched to what was then the only elite unit in the German Army. During his time as a combat swimmer, he was used, among other things, as an instructor and Task force leader, free faller and jump master. His effective training and the very high experience enabled him to enter the private sector. After stays on the west and east coasts of the USA, Caribbean, England, Denmark, France, Portugal and Spain, he later went on seafaring assignments in Germany, Italy, Greece, Turkey and the Balkans. Until then he worked as a tandem master, lifeguard and also as an author and project manager. Soon after, he wrote a ship security concept to protect and defend luxury yachts, merchant ships, cruise ships and coast facilities. Special tasks have taken him to Egypt, through the Suez Canal, to Africa, to the Arabian Peninsula, to Oman and the Persian Gulf and to the Maldives. After checking with a German shipping company and the subsequent recommendation of the responsible authorities and later certification as a ship security officer, he protected and secured ships in what were then the most dangerous pirate areas in the world. The stories are told fictionally, but are based on tru

e events.
