A Relaxing vacation cruise through Alaskan waters is just what Detective Marcus Jefferson and his family needs. They meet International best-selling author, James Blackthorne, who is on board as a guest of the cruise line. In his stateroom after a speaking engagement, a strange illness strikes the author which induces his death. An initial ruling by the ship's medical staff of natural causes raises few alarms. However, Joan Jefferson, an experienced geriatric nurse and Marc's wife, questions the decision and pushes a reluctant detective to initiate an investigation. With little evidence and unenthusiastic shipboard medical and security support, he delves into an impossible search for the truth. Peter Stockwell is a retired middle school teacher embarking on his next career telling stories. After 32 years of guiding the minds and the emotions of preteen and teenage students, he left the classroom to relax and enjoy the rest of his life with family and friends. Instead, he writes books and publishes them. The fun began when he learned the next step, marketing his creations to the world. His debut novel, Motive, was a fantastic learning experience. His second book, Motivations, a prequel to Motive, let readers delve deep into the people investigated in Motive. The third book, Jerry's Motives, continued the Jefferson family sagas of police investigations and harrowing perilous adventures. Death Stalks Mr. Blackthorne, a harrowing vacation cruise to Alaska fraught with danger, continued the story. In the Garden of Eden tells the story of Marcus Jefferson's search for the source of the poisonous toxin used to kill and harm individuals aboard the cruise ship. He lives with his wife, Sandy, and son, David, in Silverdale, Washington. He has five children and eight grandchildren who are a source of great joy. He is a member of the Pacific Northwest Writers, the International Thriller Writers, and Mystery Writers of America. His books are published through his company, Westridge Art.
