This study explores a decentralized academic verification system using Solana blockchain and IPFS, addressing certificate fraud and inefficiency in traditional verification methods. It highlights the global importance of academic certificates and the challenges of fraud, emphasizing the need for a reliable verification system. The research introduces blockchain as a solution, contrasting Ethereum's high fees and slow transactions with Solana's speed and efficiency. IPFS's role in cost-effective, decentralized storage is discussed. The aim is to develop a Solana-based DApp for secure, efficient academic certification verification, offering a modern solution to certificate fraud and inefficiency.
