Research on the contribution of decentralised investment to local economic and social development was carried out in the context of the Master's Degree in Political Science and African Studies, where it was found that rural investment projects play a fundamental role, in this sense, it is they that materialize, when well designed, the objectives of job creation at local level, taking advantage of available resources, thus materializing one of the great challenges and objectives of society and government, in particular, which is to ensure the social and economic well-being of its citizens, designing strategies that aim for the expected results. It is fundamentally a work that includes the introduction, the methodological approach that is based on participative observation, from the visit to the study site, the bibliographical research, the consultation of written material on the subject under analysis. In order to analyze, interviews were conducted with the beneficiaries of the investments in Morrumbene district as well as with the institutions providing investments and employment in rural areas.
