John M. Baumann JD, BBA is an author, inspirational speaker, University of Louisville College of Business faculty member and practicing attorney. John is also caregiver to his teenage daughter, Katie, father to his college sophomore son, Joe, Chair of the Make-A-Wish Foundation Board of Directors in Kentucky, and a self-proclaimed Proud Person with Parkinson's. John contributed to the book Roadmap to Success, which also contains contributions by Dr. Ken Blanchard and Deepak Chopra and The Peripatetic Pursuit of Parkinson's Disease. John earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Cornell Law School after graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts School of Management. As an attorney, Mr. Baumann has passed the bar and practiced law in Texas, Louisiana and New Jersey before becoming General Counsel of a NASDAQ listed corporation headquartered in Kentucky. John has made an appearance as a commentator on CNN HEADLINE NEWS and has hosted an internet talk show on success (with more than 50,000 monthly listeners). As The Inspiring Esquire, John has produced two DVDs (Learn Success Today and Learn Negotiation Today) and a CD (Reclaiming Posi-spective). He has cherished being caregiver to his daughter (who has flourished despite being born with life threatening birth defects and cerebral palsy) and is positively living with his own diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease since the ripe young age of 41. He is particularly proud of being selected the Most Inspiring Professor by the University of Louisville Scholar-Athlete of the Year. John dedicates his energy and passion to inspiring others and teaching success to audiences around the world.
