Kevin Blackburn is Associate Professor in History at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, where he has taught since 1993. He is the author of Education, Industrialization and the End of Empire in Singapore (2017), and co-author, with Karl Hack, of War Memory and the Making of Modern Malaysia and Singapore (2012). ZongLun Wu studied the development of the Singapore history syllabus during his graduate research at the National Institute of Education in Singapore. He has also taught history in the Singapore schools.
