Unusual site venous thrombosis usually includes venous thrombosis of the upper limbs, digestive tract, cellar and cerebral. These locations, although rarer than those of the lower limbs, require an etiological approach and rigorous management Goals: to specify the epidemiological, clinical, therapeutic and progressive characteristics of unusual DVT patients and methods: bicentric retrospective study including 33 patient files followed for DVT of unusual seat at the Internal Medicine departments of the Tahar Sfar Mahdia University Hospital and the Fattouma Bourguiba Monastir University Hospital over a 10-year period (2005 -2015). Results: 21 women (63.6%) ) and 12 men (36.4%) whose mean age was 45.2 ± 18 years. Cerebral venous thrombosis was the most frequent localization observed in 10 patients (30.3%) followed by digestive thrombosis in 9 cases (27.3%), vena cava thrombosis in 9 cases (27.3%), and thrombosis of the upper limbs in 5 cases (15.2%).
