From the Author "Deep within You" is a celebration of cultures. A delightful mix of experiences. It reflects the post-colonial, high-life of African people in part. Some of these poems are inspired by local songs and sayings. You would also find many cross cultural compositions influenced by life and travel in the West. I started a series of short poems reflectively on a recent vacation with my wife in London. This was to clear my mind of all the self imposed catastrophes in the New World. It posed several challenges that I could deal with only by traveling to the spiritual safety of my African roots. This has led me to "search within" for what we humans have within our souls. This has evolved to become the central theme of these series of short poems, prose and wise sayings of African Origins 2. There are many poems or sayings encouraging and motivating people to search within and face challenges as they come. Following the sober soul searches, I came out of the other side feeling gay and happy. This is reflected in many of the sayings and prose about enjoying life, living married or youthful life. My wife and I had fun with them. I read some to her asking if she could find the African humor in them, (not that easy for an American girl). I believe this body of work is full of these african wise sayings. The soul searching are ingredients for life, survival and moving on. Many other poems are light hearted and bring on good laughs if you can decipher a few cryptic words that hold the topic together. I hope you enjoy these in your idle time and it settles your thoughts on higher plains. Be entertained and have a good laugh!Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
