In the last third of the twentieth century, the Third Industrial Revolution took place, heralding the beginning of information civilization and the development of virtual culture. Today, the scientific world is talking more and more loudly about the beginning of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The emergence of new computer (quantum) technologies, communication means, nano-technologies, biotechnologies, mass development of robotics, artificial intelligence, etc. awaits us. Under these conditions, the leadership of many countries around the world is increasingly aware of the need for reforms in education, which should lead to a school of creativity and innovation. Ukraine has embarked on a path of reforms to ensure sustainable movement on the road to Europe. A new law "On Education" has been adopted, secondary school reform has begun, a system of adult education is being created, and the quality of higher education is improving. Together with the school, a huge contribution to the process of education of the younger generation is made by the Ukrainian family, which is being transformed in the conditions of information civilization. The society affirms the idea that information civilization has a future only if modern knowledge is supported by a high level of cultural development.
