It has also been revealed that defense mechanisms are commonly used by the people to (a) defend their ego and (b) to remove the anxiety aroused by certain horrible situations of their life. The analysis of the present work enabled the analyst to comprehend fully not only the characters in those literally works but also the people around her in her real life whom she often comes in contact with.
