The endonasal operation guided by nasal rigid endoscope (endoscopic nasal operation) is used for the treatment of diseases of the paranasal sinuses, nasal cavities and diseases of the skull base. Detailed knowledge of the nasal anatomy is important for performing a safe and efficient operation, minimizing its risks and complications. The objective of the research is to measure the distance from the posterior wall of the maxillary sinus to the anterior cranial base and compare it with the socio-demographic characteristics of interest, aiming to detail a new anatomical reference point that facilitates paranasal sinus operations and access to the anterior cranial base; to compare the anatomical variations of this point in relation to sex, height, weight, age and ethnicity in cadavers, as well as to perform the comparison of measurements between the right and left sides.
