The sarsapod, Lablab purpureus L., is a legume native to India, which over time has adapted very well to our country and particularly to the province of Loja, due to the climatic diversity of the sector. This legume has become one of the most important economic and food crops, along with corn, beans and peanuts.During the execution of the project, collections of the entomofauna were made for their respective identification and control tests, through the application of natural insecticides based on Neem Azadirachta indica and biological insecticides with Bacillus thurigiensis, determining the best economic alternative for control, which are demonstrated in the results. In this way we leave our contribution to the development of future research work aimed at obtaining the best control alternative with respect to pests of bramble.
