One part of the role played by the family, and the hierarchy that sustained it, has been displaced to social networks, whose devices are more horizontal and permanently connected. They are not an inconsiderable support for hypermodern subjects, orphaned of references, but at the same time they show their fragilities by placing the body and its image as central elements and promoting the virtual to the detriment of presence. Hyper connection is changing central aspects of our lives: learning, personal and family relationships, sexuality. How can we continue to be valid interlocutors for them in the face of this new digital reality? How can we welcome the novelty they bring and at the same time not abandon them without limits in their use? This book tries to analyze these transformations and to propose ideas that allow access to the virtual without renouncing to the presence or the singularity of each one.
