Daniel Taylor is the author of the Delayed in Transit book series. Daniel believes that stories grow in the telling. With every pass or hand over, things get added or removed. True histories become fables and stores, which become legends and myths. Delayed In Transit started as just a notion, a general wondering, about what a person with the title of Porter would become in a fantasy world. How would they be treated or act. What could they aspire to be, a menial laborer or something more. Originally, Delayed In Transit wasn't very long. The story would have ended with Second Blade, without a follow on. But as the world was built and the details added, more stories began to crawl up out of the woodwork. And so, he continued to write. Daniel filled in details about the world he had not touched on before, he had to fill in the blank pages on the map to make it make sense. It grew from just a small idea into something larger than he could ever have thought possible.
