La Sra. Roaa Gassas se graduó en la Universidad Rey Saud Bin Abdulaziz. Comenzó su carrera como enfermera en la unidad de cuidados intensivos para adultos. Hizo un postgrado en administración de másteres. Después se trasladó a la unidad de trasplante de médula ósea de hematología de adultos como coordinadora de enfermería. Actualmente es candidata al doctorado.
