Abstract Positive Psychology attempts to examine what makes life worth living and how it can be more satisfying and happier. One such attempt has resulted in Positive Psychology Interventions; the intentional attempt to improve happiness and garner the benefits of enhanced happiness level. The present research endeavors to examine the efficacy of such intervention designed to enhance the happiness, self esteem, helping attitude, optimism, and gratitude of college teachers. Happiness is a major life goal for the majority of people (Diener, 2000). One of the goals of the education system is also to grow happy, healthy and successful individuals and happy and peaceful teachers are integral in raising such individuals (Mertoglu, 2018). As teacher is also an exemplar of happiness for students, a teacher should be satisfied, optimistic and hopeful; and as happiness can be increased with learning, teachers should do the efforts in this direction (Mertoglu, 2018). Teaching is one of the most taxing and challenging profession (Kumar & Deo, 2011; Punia & Kamboj, 2013) and it is taking tall on teachers' health by generating illness and mental health concerns (Punia & Kamboj, 2013). So, they need a support of a well-designed intervention to eliminate the effects of stress and increase their happiness. The present intervention tries to give the experience of positive emotions on daily basis to the college teachers with the help of proven strategies to increase their happiness. As happiness is positively correlated with self esteem, helping attitude, optimism and gratitude, the simultaneous enhancement in them is also traced.
