Autorenporträt
After the birth of her son, Tracé Wilkins Francis focused more on her first dream of writing. She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), and has written for Innervision Magazine and an online women's ministry. Tracé serves as an assistant producer for several projects under her husband's film and theater company, JetFarm Pictures. She has received several community awards, including the 2019 Women Who Rock Their Roles. Tracé currently lives in New York with her husband, and son Joseph, aka "Jo Jo Bean", who wrote and illustrated The Adventures of Rock, about a young boy on a search and rescue mission for his parents from a familiar foe, and is the inspiration behind her book series.Tracé's collection of children's books with diverse characters and colorful illustrations is appealing to children of all backgrounds. Her books teach children valuable social and emotional lessons using humor and engaging stories. She also provides developmental and copy editing services, and book consulting.
