Roseann was born on the east side of Detroit to parents of an autoworker and homemaker. She has been married to her husband, Jim, a Vietnam vet, for over 48 years and has two adult married sons, a teenage granddaughter, and two grown step-grandsons. Roseann was a homemaker until she received a licensed veterinary technician degree in her 40s and worked as a tech in private practice for 12 years and then 12 years at Leader Dogs for the blind in Rochester, MI. Both Roseann and her husband are now retired and enjoy walking their dogs, spending time at their cottage in Canada, and being with their family as much as possible.
