Unbeknown to Paul, Peter is possessed by an evil spirit which is out to destroy Paul and his family. The evil spirit manifests itself while Paul is praying. Paul seeks help from friends at his church, but is silenced by pastor Bobby Millar, who is only concerned about the reputation of his church. From then on, Paul's life slides into the abyss. Bobby Millar forces him to resign from his various Church ministries. Paul's rebuttal is to tell Bobby to stick his church and his God. Paul throws himself into his new job and takes nothing more tot od with any church. Following a Serious row with his wife, Paul goes to three pubs purposely to commit suicide by jumping off the pier into the deepest part of the lake. He is saved by an Angel, who takes him through a life review. Paul, now 74, has dedicated his life to helping the depressed, the lost and the suicidal, especially young people. His goal is to show them that there is a God who loves them and desires to care for them. Jesus calls Him, 'Abba', which means 'Daddy'.
