Autorenporträt
Dr K.Virginia Hemby-Grubb is a professor in the department of marketing at Middle Tennessee State University. She earned a PhD in adult education with a concentration in business education from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1955. Dr Hemby-Grubb was the recipient of the John Robert Gregg Award in 2018, presented in recognition of her dedication and outstanding contribution to business teachers and the profession of business education; the Delta Pi Epsilon National Leadership Award in 2016; and the National Business Education Association Collegiate Teacher of the Year Award in 2014. In 2016-2017, she also received the MTSU Outstanding Public Service Award for the creation and management of Raiders' Closet. Dr Hemby-Grubb teaches the following courses: professional meeting, event, exhibition, and convention (MEEC) management; business communication; virtual business presentations; career decision making, employment communication; workplace etiquette and protocol; and issues and trends in corporate communication.
