Coauthors Dorothy W. Patterson and Janet M. DeVries are archivists and curators. Patterson is archivist for the Delray Beach Historical Society, and DeVries is archivist for the Boynton Beach City Library and the Boynton Beach Historical Society. A portion of the proceeds from this book will benefit the Delray Beach Historical Society Archives and the Schoolhouse Children's Museum.
