This book has depicted an overall scenario of the occupational safety of workers in composite textile industries where the author has discussed 'why workplace safety is important?', Hazards such as chemical exposure, dust so on and engineering control. The author also emphasized on Ergonomics and Prolong working time that has Long-term working effects on health such as physical or mental problem e.g. Injured through needle piercing, stress, backbone pain etc. Further did pay hits on Personal Protective equipment's (PPE), management personnel act and implement workplace safety by taking some effective plan for the occupational safety of the industrial worker. The study also shows, Chemical exposure from the processing, washing and dyeing of materials; exposure to organic dusts, which affect the eyes, throat and lungs, musculoskeletal stresses, noise exposure, which can lead to hearing loss; temperature and ventilation, which lead to fatigue and dehydration if temperatures are too high; and working hours and breaks. Standard working condition augments factories performance in term of efficiency while accident rate impediment the factories from achieving target efficiency.
