The study emphasise why understanding students behaviour is important and how it can influence travel market in area. Using Internet based survey collection and an interview, study examines and analyses students travel behaviours, the constraints that students are facing (connected to travel), reasons to choose the destination and changes in their normal tourism behaviour. Interesting results are presented regarding constraining factors and students view on tourism offer in area of Umeå in Sweden. The study also presents ideas for improving travel opportunities for students. The study concludes that international students tourism is important for the area and requires future research.

Agata Pawlak - born in 1988 in Poland. Finished Bachelor in Tourism and Recreation on University of ¿ód¿ in Poland. Finished Master in Tourism on Umeå University in Umeå, Sweden with this published work. She was always interested in differences in perception between people coming from all around the world, which reflects in her work.
