Johan P. Olsen is Professor Emeritus in Political Science and Founding Director of Arena, Centre for European Studies, University of Oslo. He has publicized widely in international in international journals and authored several books, among them Europe in Search of Political Order (OUP 2007) and Governing Through Institution Building (OUP 2010). He is a member of five Academies and an honorary doctor in four countries.
