The document is configured as follows: In a first moment, in this thesis a tour on Hegel's philosophy and the relationship between the concept of alienation and its link with the idea of freedom was made. In a second moment, we will work on the critical perspective of the concept of alienation that begins with the figure of Feuerbach and ends with the philosophy of Marx and Engels. Finally, this thesis will address the implications and collateral effects that the phenomenon of alienation and reification has on the dynamics of recognition within the market sphere from the perspective of Axel Honneth. To this end, I have developed a hypothesis where I argue that democratic Ethicality can be a solution to the problem of alienation and reification, insofar as the pathological nature of the phenomena of alienation and reification is mediated by social relations and is a social product that can be socially reversed.
