Autorenporträt
In many ways Bella Skaja is like every teen. She's insatiably hungry, grumbles about homework, and lives to hang out with friends. Conversation reveals much more. Bella plays piano and trumpet, loves to draw, and in her own words craves the, "no boundaries freedom" only an author knows. She draws inspiration from incredibly diverse sources. Stephanie Meyer and Veronica Anne Roth are two of her favorite authors. Books on Egyptian, Greek and Roman mythology line her shelves. She attributes her story-telling ability to her Mom, who can make a simple trip to the store sound like an Icelandic saga. Will Bells pursue writing as a career? "Yes, maybe," she says. For now her goal is to just inspire other young writers.
