Four different functionalized Multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) hybrids using dendrimers and silver nanoparticles were developed. The grafting of Poly(propyleneimine) dendrimers and deposition of silver nanoparticles onto the surface of MWCNT were confirmed through Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectroscopy, and x-ray diffraction pattern analyses. The functionalized MWCNTs were dispersed in water and different organic solvents. The dispersed hybrids were examined for solubility studies.
