Immediate implantation, in addition to reducing clinical treatment time, aims to preserve marginal bone ridges and maintain the emergence profile of the dental crown. This study presents a clinical procedure involving the minimally traumatic extraction of an upper lateral incisor using a periotome, followed by the immediate installation of a Morse cone implant (Alvim 3.5x13mm, Neodent®). Produktbeschreibung
Subepithelial connective tissue grafting (SCTG) was then performed, since the use of connective tissue and bone grafts helps in buccal tissue reconstruction, which increases aesthetic success rates and patient satisfaction, as well as promoting favorable biological responses, such as an increase in buccal tissue volume and a gain in the amount of keratinized tissue. In order to remedy a loss of remaining alveolar bone tissue, bovine biomaterial (Geistlich Bio-Oss®) was used for alveolar reconstruction, filling the space between the implant and the remaining alveolar bone, and also with the intention of covering the implant spirals and promoting stability for the newly grafted soft tissue.
